History
- 1637年、初代・大倉治右衛門が京都伏見に出て来て創業。屋号は「笠置屋」。
- 1905年、勝利と栄光のシンボル「月桂冠」を酒銘に採用。
- 1927年、「株式会社大倉恒吉商店」を設立。
- 1944年、「大倉酒造株式会社」に社名変更。
- 1987年、創業350年、会社設立60年を機に、社名を「月桂冠株式会社」とする。
