- 1889年、有限責任尼崎紡績會社設立。
- 1893年、尼崎紡績株式會社と改称。
- 1918年、株式會社摂津紡績と合併し大日本紡績株式會社と改称。
- 1923年、日本絹毛紡績株式會社と合併。
- 1926年、日本レイヨン株式會社（ニチレ）を設立し、レーヨン糸の製造を開始。
- 1964年、ニチボー株式会社と改称。
- 1969年、日本レイヨンと合併し、ユニチカ株式会社として新発足。
